Dr. Nigel Kellow
Consultant in Interventional Pain Medicine
Dr. Kellow graduated from the Royal Free Hospital in 1985. He then followed post graduate training in London, Paris, Oxford, and Cambridge before being appointed as a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine at St. Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospital in 1996.
He is currently a Consultant in Interventional Pain Medicine at the Princess Grace Hospital, and a founder member of The Wellington Hospital Pain Medicine Unit. He is also a member of the Interventional Pain Medicine group of the British Pain Society.
He has published widely in peer reviewed medical journals and has written a number book chapters. While working as a full-time NHS teaching hospital he studied for and was awarded an MBA from the London Business School, where he specialised in process modelling and healthcare management.
His specialist interests are in the minimally invasive treatment of problems caused by degenerative spinal disease including radiculopathies, spinal stenosis, disc herniation, and vertebral body fractures. He is also interested in the treatment of neuropathic pain, and palliative treatments for cancer pain.
